WEEK 3 EOC: Jeopardy

Today in class, we are creating a Jeopardy game to learn the vocabulary for Patents. I searched through the book to look for vocabulary words that would be perfect for my game. Once I found a word, I read the definition over and over again. I did that so I could include the ideal answer to the question, which my classmates will get and learn simultaneously. I found this process a very educational and effective way to become more familiar to our terms. In addition, it’s a fun way to learn about patents. I have learned so much already, more than when I tried to read each term at home. I cannot wait until we actually play each other’s Jeopardy game. The reason is because what my classmate learned through building this game will pass down to me when I play. Therefore, expand my knowledge of the wonderful world of Patents. Here are some examples of questions and answers that will be on my Jeopardy game!

It is an application that is filed subsequent to the original application, which includes new materials not covered in the original application.

What is Continuation-in-Part?

(Blank) a Patent is when a patent is improperly used by the U.S. Patent and Trademark office in the first place and when a patent is legally misused by the patent owner.

WEEK 2 EOC: What do you think about lawyers?

I have never encountered a lawyer before. I hear lawyer jokes everyday about them. The jokes view them as liars, idiots, and people that just do not care. I see lawyers (actors really) on television shows. Some are rude and exactly how the jokes describe them. And some are very powerful compassionate people. All in all, I like to believe that lawyers are people that stand by their voice and make sure they are heard. I must say that there are some lawyers that I do not agree with. That their opinions and what they are standing for are ridiculous to me. But because they fight and demand what they (and their clients) want and need, I find them courageous. Anyone who is that powerful with their words is commendable. No matter how much I disagree or agree with their stand.

WEEK 1 EOC: About Me

I am a photographer and I can honestly say that I am in love with photography. There is so much about this field that intrigues me. With every photo, the photographer captures a story. With that same photo the viewer creates their own story, or even remembers something in their past. I love how photography can trigger something for someone, and how photos capture different types of emotion, interpretation, and beauty. I have worked in different kinds of photography, from food to landscape, people to still life. And with every photo I attempt to shoot it in a unique creative way. I have experience with photography equipment and editing. I spend many hours editing photos and enjoy every second. I also find enjoyment in photographing a series of photos; a set of photos that tells a story. One day I would love to publish a book with my storytelling photographs. Eventually, I want to get into advertisement. It’s a field where I can promote movies, artists, and companies through my creativity. I love using my talents to promote other people’s creations. I also want to travel the world and photograph places that no one has seen. Taking adventures to the unknown territories and capturing photos to share with everyone.
